Hello, [name_u]Baby[/name_u] Girl is due in just a few short weeks and she still don’t have a name. I really like the name [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] but I’m afraid it may be too much for her first name. I’m trying to fit [name_f]Ann[/name_f] in for my mother and mother-in-laws middle names. Does [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] flow as well as [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]? Thanks so much for your help!!
I think [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] flows better.
And [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] is less popular than [name_f]Claire[/name_f], which is a bonus.
I do not think [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] is too much for a first name, but if still think so, there are a plethora of nicknames you can get from it ([name_f]Ann[/name_f], Lissy, and my favorite [name_f]LeeLee[/name_f] : )
Its nice of you to try to honor your mother and mil!
[name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] isn’t too much for a first name ( but I love longer names!) [name_f]Annalie[/name_f] is a bit shorter in case you haven’t seen it.
I prefer [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]. It feels more original to me. One syllable middles are a bit tired imo.
Both combinations are beautiful and flow well. I like [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] a bit more.
I prefer [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] as a first name. [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is my choice.
I’m partial to longer names, so I don’t think [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] is too much at all. I vote for it in the first name spot!
I love both combinations! I would go with [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] if you have a longer surname.
Both are pretty.
I prefer [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f].
Thanks so much for all of your help! I had considered [name_f]Annalee[/name_f] but I have a niece named Brynleigh and wasn’t sure if the lee made them to similar. I personally like the way [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] sounds more but I think [name_f]Claire[/name_f] as a first name may go better with my daughter [name_f]Aubrie[/name_f].
I like both, but if I were choosing I’d pick [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] if pronouncing them together, but since one usually only uses first + middle names aloud when scolding, go with whichever combination gives you the first name you prefer.
My DD is [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Annaliese[/name_f] (family spelling). Though, I prefer the [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] spelling. Either way, my vote is obviously for [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]!
I think [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] flows a lot better than [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f]. [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] isn’t too much for a fn either, there are plenty of popular names that have 3 or more syllables such as [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f].
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] is one of my favorite names:) I have thought of naming a daughter [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] :)… a beautiful name and you can’t go wrong with either choice…
I like [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Annaliese[/name_f], but [name_f]Annaliese[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is nice too.
I think [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] are fantastic together! I think either combo works, but I like [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] a little bit more, mainly for the nn potential (I love [name_f]Annie[/name_f], Liesey, [name_f]Lise[/name_f], and [name_f]Elise[/name_f]!). I really love the simplicity of [name_f]Claire[/name_f], though, too, and [name_f]Claire[/name_f] [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] is really gorgeous.
They are both gorgeous. Choose based on which one you would like to be the first name.
