Our extremely unexpected but overly cherished twins arrived on the 12th of [name]November[/name]. As it turned out my hunch was right, one handsome baby boy and finally a baby girl!
So, we are proud to announce the safe arrival of [name]Charles[/name] [name]Ellington[/name] and [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Mae[/name]!
[name]Charlie[/name] arrived first weighing 6lbs 7oz, and he fits his name perfectly! Sometimes he is a [name]Charles[/name], quiet and distinguished and sometimes his crazy comes out and he is definitely our little [name]Charlie[/name]!
Then our one and only girl rushed in to the world only 4 minutes after her brother, weighing 5lbs 2oz. I was unsure about [name]Evie[/name] initially, it just didn’t “fit”, and we almost called her [name]Matilda[/name], however after we heard our 2 year old [name]Gus[/name] call his little sister [name]Evie[/name], we just knew that it was right! I love it now, she gets everything: [name]Evie[/name], [name]Evie[/name] [name]Mae[/name], [name]Gen[/name], [name]Tilly[/name], [name]Tilda[/name], but I guess we’ll discover what sticks, my preference is strangely [name]Evie[/name] [name]Mae[/name]!
Their older brothers, [name]Teddy[/name], [name]Max[/name] and [name]Gus[/name] are besotted with them, [name]Max[/name] said to me the other day, “you know mum, [name]Charlie[/name] will be good, he’ll just join us and be rough, but we’ll have to look after [name]Evie[/name], I can already see it, a princess, I’ll have to carry her everywhere!” The logic of a 4 year old!
Thankyou you all for your wonderful suggestions and opinions, twins were not our radar but we are so completely in love with them!
