Struggling with a name! Was going to go with [name_m]Charles[/name_m]/[name_u]Charlie[/name_u] but can’t now for family reasons. I love [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] ([name_m]Fritz[/name_m]) but our last name is [name_m]German[/name_m] sounding and I think it might sound too [name_m]German[/name_m]. I sort of like [name_u]August[/name_u]/us but don’t love [name_u]Gus[/name_u] or the full version well enough yet. I like [name_u]Max[/name_u] ok, feel like I have the dog name theme going :wink: [name_m]Just[/name_m] looking for a classic name with a cute nickname if possible. Last name starts with a T, one syllable. Help!

I absolutely love [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] and if I used it as a first name, I would use [name_m]Wells[/name_m] v. [name_u]Max[/name_u]. It works great with your boys. I forgot my other fav [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] ([name_u]Theo[/name_u] or [name_u]Teddy[/name_u])! I also like [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] ([name_m]Wes[/name_m]).

I really like [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]–> [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] too, but it’s not great with my last name. [name_m]Wes[/name_m] is also awesome.

I’ve always loved [name_m]Wells[/name_m], but thought it was short for [name_m]Wellington[/name_m] or something heavy so it never made the short list. But as a nickname for [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] it’s soooo cute and it makes sense as a nickname. You might have just helped me name this baby! Fingers crossed that he likes it too, but I always win anyway :wink:
