My husband and I are expecting our second child around [name_f]April[/name_f] and we’d like some help collecting names.
We were able to collect a few already:
[name_m]Felix[/name_m]
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
[name_u]Ren[/name_u]
[name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
And we would like to expand our list, but we are having trouble finding more due to the restrictions we have:
We don’t want a name that has a heavy K sound in it, because our first son already has a quite harsh K name ([name_m]Luka[/name_m])
We’d prefer nothing starting on an O or I , because our surname starts with an O, and we are not fond of alliteration and dislike the sound of an I name followed by an O name.
I like [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] for your list. Although I love [name_m]Henry[/name_m], I don’t think it matches as well with [name_m]Luka[/name_m] and it’s also uber popular. [name_u]Ren[/name_u] is now used so much more for little girls ([name_u]Wren[/name_u]), so I’d consider that if you’re leaning towards the name for a boy. If someone said the name I’d expect to see a girl. [name_u]James[/name_u] is nice but yawn, overused!
What about [name_m]Enzo[/name_m]? Cool and Italian with a [name_m]Luka[/name_m]! [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] with the nickname [name_m]Seb[/name_m]? [name_m]Luka[/name_m] and [name_m]Seb[/name_m] is an amazing sibset. [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]? [name_m]Miles[/name_m]?
With your wonderful first blessing in mind. I thought I would stay on the same trend using some biblical names with a couple of archangel names thrown in.
Remiel [name_u]James[/name_u] (nn [name_m]Remmy[/name_m]- [name_u]Angel[/name_u] of hope)
[name_m]Haniel[/name_m] [name_u]Ren[/name_u] (nn [name_m]Hanley[/name_m]-[name_u]Angel[/name_u] of friends)
[name_m]Jonas[/name_m] Camuel (nn [name_u]Cam[/name_u] - comforter and protector).
Zadkiel [name_m]Henry[/name_m] *nn Zad - pronounced Zayed- [name_u]Angel[/name_u] of compassion and forgiveness) I know you wanted to stay away from K sounds but this kind of seems like a soft k.
