I voted for [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] - so spunky and unexpected.
But then I saw [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]. I do like the change in syllables, but I also like that [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] feels like a more mature, regal addition to your current name.
I love the idea of an extra middle being like a secret tattoo - what a great way of thinking about it
[name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] are lovely!!
grackym & adelina_sophia - Thank you for your comments and kind words! Spunky & unexpected, I think you have articulated my feelings exactly The fact it is a word name not a ‘name name’ makes it a little unexpected too I think, and ‘makes it’. I like that you have chosen both the names I simply like for their own merit, with no other family ties.
Haha, thanks greyblue, I knew berries would understand re. it being like a tattoo! The names you have suggested are divine, I especially like [name_f]Odette[/name_f]. [name_f]Liora[/name_f] is suuuper lovely. My sister in law is called [name_f]Leora[/name_f] [name_f]Madel[/name_f]!ne [name_f]Jane[/name_f], the lucky thing
My favourite is [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Idalia[/name_f] as [name_f]Idalia[/name_f] is such a wonderfully unusual, romantic and vintage little dear, and a great bonus being a family name. I never really mind a repeated -a ending, so that doesn’t bother me at all. I like the three-syllables of [name_f]Idalia[/name_f] too, as it breaks up the two syllables of [name_f]Rachel[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f] & Flemm!ng nicely.
I also like [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], but greatly prefer [name_f]Idalia[/name_f].
sunniva, I really appreciate your thoughts. You have addressed my feeling on the repeated -a ending, which to be honest I don’t think is a deal breaker either. Especially as you say the 3 syllables break it up.
My Great-Great Grandparents were fantastic namers, I mean, [name_f]Idalia[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]! swoon Apprecaite your kind words on [name_f]Idalia[/name_f] in that regard
@rachelbemma: You’re very welcome, m’dear. [name_f]Idalia[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] really is a gorgeous name - what a find in the family tree! I can’t help but wonder what [name_f]Idalia[/name_f]'s siblings names were (if she had any) - equally as fantastic, I’m sure.
Thanks for your suggestions lovenames, they are very sweet & simple. I do like [name_f]Claire[/name_f] a lot.
Another vote for [name_f]Bess[/name_f], yay! Thanks gabriellenz, once I realised I could have included this as a second middle when I changed my name to a married name, I was a bit upset.
