I really love [name]Anouk[/name], but her last name would rhyme with Flack. [name]Anouk[/name] Flack? WDYT?
It’s not bad. Give her a nice long middle name to balance it out!
Hmm. It’s not the best flow, and it’s a lot of word (a nook flack). I’m thinking of [name]Roberta[/name] Flack and even though [name]Roberta[/name]'s not the most attractive name the three syllables and the -a ending it softens the quick sounds of Flack. [name]Anna[/name] Flack nn [name]Anouk[/name] is better, although [name]Anna[/name] Flack is a lot of short a sound. I think [name]Annica[/name]/[name]Annika[/name] Flack is nice, and [name]Annica[/name]/[name]Annika[/name] could easily be nn’d [name]Anouk[/name] (to me).
I love [name]Anouk[/name], but I’m not sure it works with a single syllable last name ending in “ck”.
What about [name]Anoushka[/name] nn. [name]Anouk[/name]?
If you are uncomfortable with the flow of her name, could make her name hyphenated e.g. [name]Anouk[/name]-elle
I think it’s nice though, go with the name you love!
I like the suggestion of [name]Anoushka[/name] nn [name]Anouk[/name]!
Agreed with the [name]Anoushka[/name] suggestion. [name]Anouk[/name] is very elegant but unfortunately with the last name Flack, it just doesn’t work. I think the middle name idea is a bad suggestion because in her everyday life she will be called “[name]Anouk[/name] Flack” not “[name]Anouk[/name] ___ Flack”.
[name]Anna[/name] Flack sounds like Anaphylactic shock to me. lol
Thanks for the suggestions. I know that Anouk is a variant of Anna/Anne, but honestly I don’t really like Anna or Anne or Anoushka. I do like the suggestion of Annika, however. I agree with Sabrinas about the middle name. She would be called Anouk “Flack” much more often than Anouk (mn-probably Ellen) “Flack”. I just love Anouk, but I think I might have to let it go:(
I suppose it’s not as lyrical as it could be but I think it works just fine - and [name]Anouk[/name] is a fantastic name!
