I like saying [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] a tad more so to me that trumps the look of a name, since in everyday use you’d probably be saying it more than writing it.

I agree with PP. I think [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] rolls off the tongue a little easier so that go my vote. That being said, they’re both lovely names.

I also like the way [name_m]Anselm[/name_m] looks more “complete”, but I also agree that [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] is much easier to say, so that gets my vote.

[name_m]Ansel[/name_m]. It feels sharper and sleeker. [name_m]Anselm[/name_m] feels quite weighty to me, and puts me in mind of a medieval monk.

Cool choices, though! Have you considered [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], too? I always think of these as a trio, for some reason!

I accidentally voted for [name_m]Anselm[/name_m], but I prefer [name_m]Ansel[/name_m]. [name_m]Anselm[/name_m] just feels very heavy in comparison, and doesn’t really add anything except weight to me.

I like both, but [name_m]Ansell[/name_m] is a medical manufacturing company where I live (condoms & gloves), so [name_m]Anselm[/name_m] has the edge for me. That might not be a consideration where you live.

I quite like the rounded weighty/‘medieval monk’ feeling of [name_m]Anselm[/name_m], but I can see why it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

Oh, I love [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] so much. I think it’s so handsome, soft, and sweet! I definitely prefer it, but [name_m]Anselm[/name_m] is a nice name too.

The m seems unnecessary to me.
