Its strange I haven’t really thought about it before but the name popped up in my head last week and I really like it.

I absolutely love the name [name_m]Ansel[/name_m]!!! (It’s on my short list!) I think it’s just different enough to not be boring, and it reminds me of the handsome [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] Elgort:)
Yes! [name_m]German[/name_m] boys names are so handsome. [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] is no exception there.
I think it’s awesome. I actually know a little boy named [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] and he rocks the name. I’ve actually toyed with the idea of adding it to my short list as a way to honor my grandpa, who loved [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] [name_m]Adams[/name_m] pictures.
I love it! I do worry a bit that people would associate it with [name_m]Hansel[/name_m] & [name_f]Gretel[/name_f] or [name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_m]Wilson[/name_m]'s character from Zoolander rather than [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] [name_m]Adams[/name_m], but I think it’s a great name for a boy. There’s a young actor named [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] Elgort who is set to be in two pretty big movies this year, so I wonder if we’ll be seeing more little boys named [name_m]Ansel[/name_m]?
I love the idea of the name, but here in Australia, [name_m]Ansell[/name_m] is a condom brand so I wouldn’t use it here.
I actually love [name_m]Hansel[/name_m], though, but I probably can’t use it as my twin sister’s name is [name_f]Gretel[/name_f]…
I like it a lot. I think of it as old-man vintage. Along with [name_m]Harvey[/name_m], [name_m]Amos[/name_m], [name_m]Ernest[/name_m]… I associate the name with [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] [name_m]Adams[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Ansel[/name_m]! I think it has a lot of spunk and is handsome.
I adore [name_m]Ansel[/name_m], so handsome.
[name_m]Ansel[/name_m] is very cute for a little boy but somehow still mature for an older man. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it!
I really like [name_m]Ansel[/name_m]. It fits in nicely with the names in your signature. I also like [name_m]Hansel[/name_m], but it’s too tied to [name_m]Hansel[/name_m] & [name_f]Gretel[/name_f] for me.
same here especially cause he is two upcoming movies that I’m dying to see
[name_m]Ansel[/name_m] and [name_m]Hansel[/name_m] are both old, rare, and sound nice. [name_m]Hansel[/name_m] nn [name_m]Hans[/name_m]. Sounds like Hanz/Hunts when my [name_m]German[/name_m] relatives say it. Is there a nn for [name_m]Ansel[/name_m]? [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] is softer and a tad more refined the [name_m]Hansel[/name_m].
[name_m]Ansel[/name_m] is the main condom and lube brand in Australia, but I can see that if you didn’t have that connotation, it has some charm. But maybe don’t plan on moving to Australia soon
I’m a fan.
