My husband I and both like these names but we both prefer one over the other. HELP!
sibling named Anson
(For those of you who think Autrey is a “made up” name its not! It is a surname and has been used as a first name. If you do your research its actually an old name dating back to the 1800’s! Its a rare name only 3 out of a million babies had this name last year!)
Did you mean [name]Audrey[/name]? If so, I definitely vote for [name]Audrey[/name]. If it wasn’t a typo, Autrey sounds like a made up name- not fond of it, I’m sorry
I like Autrey better, as it won’t date your daughter as much as [name]Ansleigh[/name] will. Autrey makes me think of [name]Gene[/name] [name]Autry[/name].
If you are worried about popularity in your area, another choice can be [name]Kinley[/name]/[name]Kenley[/name] or [name]Kinsey[/name]. They have the same sort of vibe as [name]Ansleigh[/name]. [name]Kinley[/name] is growing in popularity also, but just a suggestion that might work for you!
[name]Ansleigh[/name] and [name]Anson[/name] are way too similar, so my vote goes to Autrey. I think that Eisley is in the same style that you like, and isn’t too close to [name]Anson[/name], and doesn’t sound as made-up as Autrey.
My niece is named Kensley and my cousins daughter is [name]Kenley[/name]! those are popular in my area too! Eisley is different but my husband likes “A” names
I prefer Autrey – [name]Ansleigh[/name] is too similar to [name]Anson[/name] and very 2000s/2010s. I like someone else’s suggestion of Eisley, but if you’re set on A names, I think [name]Adeline[/name] and [name]Aurora[/name] fit in nicely with [name]Anson[/name].
I dislike them both, honestly - [name]Ansleigh[/name] LOOKS terrible and I don’t find Autrey appealing at all - [name]Audrey[/name] / [name]Audra[/name] / [name]Audrina[/name] would all be much more feminine.
I agree [name]Ansleigh[/name] and [name]Anson[/name] are too similar, and plus I just don’t really like the sound of it. Autrey is very cute…kinda masculine because of the whole [name]Gene[/name] Autrey thing, but goes along with the [name]Aubrey[/name]/[name]Audrey[/name] set (both of which I’ve seen used quite recently).
Autrey is so close to [name]Audrey[/name] and [name]Aubrey[/name] that it feels feminine to me, it fits right in with that trend. I know a family with the last name Autrey, so it’s not a made up name.
Hmm, are you set on [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Chase[/name] as the middle names? I was thinking that Autrey [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Farmer[/name] sounds nice, but [name]Chase[/name] throws the balance off and makes it sound more like a list of names. That may not bother you, though.
