Antonia: ready or not?

Is [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] ready for revival (well, it’s already in the top 1000, so I guess yes)? Any thoughts on [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] is general?

It’s actually one of the few names DH and I can 100% agree on. We realize it is quite a heavy name, but has a variety of nicknames to make it more wearable.

Have you ever met an [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]?

I really like it. I would love to meet a little [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]!

I know a little E m m a - A n t o n e l l a (goes by both. bit of a mouthful, but [name_f]Antonella[/name_f] is gorgeous), but never an [name_f]Antonia[/name_f].

I knew a little girl named [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]. She was an adorable, friendly, smiley little girl. So I have a soft spot for the name.

It’s a great under-used classic so I say go for it! It has lots of great nns too-- [name_f]Ana[/name_f], [name_f]Toni[/name_f], [name_f]Tonia[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], Ant, etc.

I have met 3 (maybe 4) Antonias through my life, it’s an usual name in [name_u]Brazil[/name_u]. I think [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] is a strong classic.

[name_f]Antonia[/name_f] is a sophisticated and gorgeous name that is more than ready for use. I wouldn’t consider it a heavy name at all; in fact it’s almost the opposite. It gives off an elegant, regal aura – I can’t understand why it isn’t more popular. On that note, I haven’t ever met an [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]. Also, I love the nickname [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] <3

It’s definitely ready for revival! I think it’s a lovely choice - not heavy at all, but regal and refined.

Maybe [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] is a slightly more popular choice over here, I don’t know, but I’ve met several. All very nice people, and all have gone by their full name as far as I know.

I like it!

I have never met any in my life, but I always like it. Go for it!

Never met one, but I would love to! [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] is fantastic!

I don’t see why not! Especially with the nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f]

I really like [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]!

Very ready for a comeback! [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] was on our list as well.

I went to school with an [name_f]Antonia[/name_f], not that it has any bearing on my opinion, but personally I am not a fan.

I never used to care for [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] but now I’m starting to see her regal, understated beauty.

I don’t know any [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]'s but think of the daughter of [name_m]Joe[/name_m] & [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] Gorga from RHONJ.

I’ve never met an [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]. It’s a beautiful, elegant, and sophisticated name. Definitely ready for a comeback!

I think it’s great. Recognizable as a classic name, but not too common.

I like [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]. I went school with one who goes by [name_f]Annie[/name_f] for short. I don’t see it as heavy. I’m surprised it’s not more popular.

I have always loved the name [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]! I think it is definitely ready to be used more. With [name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] it sounds quite lovely!

I know a 3-year-old [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] that goes by [name_f]Toni[/name_f]. I think it’s super cute!
