I would appreciate your vote on the way you would naturally pronounce [name]Antonia[/name]: an-toe-nee-uh or an-tohnya. And any other comments you have - do you like it? What kind of girl/woman do you picture with this name? Big sister would be [name]Gwendolyn[/name], how do they seem as sisters?
I would use nn [name]Annie[/name], not [name]Toni[/name] which seems dated to me.
I would say An-toe-nee-ah also. It’s a gorgeous name. I picture a very bright girl/woman. She’s smart and elegant. I think it sounds great with [name]Gwendolyn[/name]!
[name]Ann[/name] toe nee uh
love it! I think it’s strong but kind of princessy but in a regal way, not a fluffy way…
funny because that’s kind of how I would describe [name]Gwendolyn[/name]!
I think [name]Annie[/name] or Anty or [name]Nina[/name] or [name]Nia[/name] is the way to go. Fear of [name]Toni[/name] is the omly thing that holds me back from considering the name myself!
I say it an-toe-nee-ah. I like it a lot, I picture a strong versitile woman who knows what she wants in life and is prepared to work for it, she’s also a bit spontaneous and fun loving.
I think it’s a bit off, [name]Gwendolyn[/name] and [name]Antonia[/name], but it’s still a nice fit. I like the nickname [name]Annie[/name] too.
I [name]LOVE[/name] the name!! My uncle’s friend is called [name]Antonia[/name] (yes, a girl) and she goes by [name]Tana[/name]! I think [name]Tana[/name] is an awesome nickname for [name]Antonia[/name] along with [name]Annie[/name].
And I love it! It goes very well with [name]Gwendolyn[/name] and I agree that [name]Annie[/name] is a better nn. I think [name]Antonia[/name] is a beautiful name with a lovely sound. It’s nicely uncommon as well. (But still recognizable as a name, so pronunciation won’t be a problem.)
[name]Ann[/name]-toe-nee-uh and I love the name! I would also say no nickname because capture the beauty this possesses but if you think she will get one/want a nn I would go with [name]Nia[/name].
