I heard this name on tv last night and im quite taken by it. My partners middle name is [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] so seems quite fitting in some ways. Is it too dated or aristocratic for normal folk? What are your opinions on it?
I love it. Her nickname could be [name_f]Toni[/name_f]. Not dated and definitely not aristocratic these days.
It’s beautiful and definitely usable! I knew an [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] and the name totally worked, didn’t sound out of place or too posh. [name_f]Nia[/name_f] is another nickname.
I think that [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] could work.
I’ve always liked [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] and I’m surprised it’s not used more often. I definitely wouldn’t consider it dated and the people I know of with the name are just normal people so I don’t think of it as aristocratic.
I think [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] could totally work! I’ve actually been thinking about it for the past couple hours, and am trying out [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] myself. 
I grew up with a family friend nn’d [name_f]Toni[/name_f] (her full name was [name_f]Tonia[/name_f], but everyone always assumed it was [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]), and references to [name_f]Willa[/name_f] Cather’s My [name_f]Antonia[/name_f], so it just feels familiar to me, rather than aristocratic or posh. I would love to meet a little [name_f]Antonia[/name_f]. (I know an adorable little [name_f]Antonella[/name_f], too, and I think [name_f]Antonina[/name_f] is also gorgeous–I think the whole family of names is beautiful!)
I think it’s a great name. If you’re ok with the nickname [name_f]Toni[/name_f], which a lot of people will default to, go for it. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you pronounce it [name_m]Anton[/name_m]-yah or Ant-o-Nee-ah? I think they’re both nice. I prefer the latter but think the former is more common. One of my favorite books is My [name_f]Antonia[/name_f].

I didnt know there was any other way to pronounce it! We’re in [name_f]England[/name_f] and everyone says an-toe-knee-uh
Oh it’s a standout choice! I also love [name_f]Antoinette[/name_f] but I feel it might be more of a guilty pleasure. [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] is very useable however.
I personally dont like it, but it can definitely work.
