Tough choice. [name_f]My[/name_f] great-great-grandmother was named [name_f]Antonina[/name_f], and I think it’s beautiful! But I do slightly prefer [name_u]Antonia[/name_u].
I’m with @elanorelle! (although I didn’t have a grandma [name_f]Antonina[/name_f])
I prefer the sleek and beautiful [name_u]Antonia[/name_u].
Both beautiful, but I slightly prefer [name_u]Antonia[/name_u] myself. I do like [name_f]Antonina[/name_f] though— but I’d call her [name_f]Nina[/name_f]
I love [name_u]Antonia[/name_u]! Literary and bold
I like [name_u]Antonia[/name_u] but I prefer [name_f]Antonina[/name_f], personally. I first encountered it years ago through the beautiful fashion model [name_f]Antonina[/name_f] Vasylchenko. It also reminds me of [name_f]Antonina[/name_f] Shevchenko, the mixed martial artist. I love the Russian nickname [name_f]Tonya[/name_f] (tone-ya) too.
Antonia, for the sole reason that it’d be easier to use NN [name_f]Nona[/name_f] which is one of my top favorites. By themselves without NNs though, I’d take [name_f]Antonina[/name_f].
Both fantastic names but [name_f]Antonina[/name_f] really grabs me as a Russophile I love that she could very naturally be the cute, cool, super international [name_f]Nina[/name_f] for short too.
