Let me start off by saying I suffer from severe anxiety. I tend to dwell and over think certain social situations. Here is the question. I was out with some friends the other night we ended up in this club. As I was walking to the bar I saw a drunk idiot dancing towards me, then he bumped into me it was intentional, there was enough space for him to avoid bumping into me. I’m the type to avoid any confrontation or fight. Not because I’m a coward but because I’m a 34 year old man with wife and kids and I have a lot to lose. After the drunken idiot bumped into me I just kept walking didn’t even look back he was probably looking for a reaction. But then I became extremely anxious and it ruined the night. My question is what would the average person do in that situation , did I handle it well , I always feel like I should of done this or that. Any advice please.
Sounds to me like you handled it the best way possible!
