[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! I want to hear if anyone has any out of the mainstream names that start with the “I” sound. They don’t have to start with the letter I or be spelled with it, but the first syllable has to have that vowel used. Example: [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_u]Ira[/name_u], [name_u]Tyson[/name_u], [name_f]Irene[/name_f], [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m].
I’ve found that pronunciation can vary from person to person (culture to culture) with the EYE sound, as many may say EE so you might want to be aware of that if the EYE sound is very important to you.
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] is the first one that came to mind. [name_f]Kyla[/name_f], [name_f]Myla[/name_f], [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_u]Tyler[/name_u], [name_u]Skylar[/name_u]/[name_u]Skyler[/name_u]… [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Iona[/name_f], [name_m]Ivor[/name_m], [name_m]Ivan[/name_m]…
