Recently, I feel as though I’ve come to a mental block with names, nothing seems new and fresh any more. A few names I had thought were the perfect children’s names, I put in my story, and realized, I hardly have any on my list for my future children. So, what I’m asking is for any ideas. They don’t have to be uncommon (though I do love uncommon names) and they don’t have to be extremely popular, just anything you would think I would like. Below, is a list of my favorite names for both girls and boys, if it gives anyone an idea of what names I am looking for.
Whoa, I could not read through all of those names, haha. But here is what I think could work for you:
[name_f]Annora[/name_f]
[name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]
Magdelen
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]
Amabella
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Viola[/name_f]
[name_f]Lisette[/name_f]
[name_f]Veda[/name_f]
[name_f]Carys[/name_f]
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f]
[name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f]
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f]
[name_f]Polina[/name_f] - a lot you had on your list I actually have on mine! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites that stood out were [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_m]Archer[/name_m], [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_u]Orion[/name_u], and [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]. I’ve never heard [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] before, it’s one of my new favorites
[name_f]Augusta[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] - you’re list is filled with such wonderful names! I put a lot down on my list, but I’ll name the ones that I really loved. [name_m]Evander[/name_m], [name_u]Eban[/name_u], [name_m]Oisin[/name_m], [name_f]Romilly[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Eliora[/name_f] and I adored the fact you said [name_f]Liliosa[/name_f]!
Marshmallow - Your names were beautiful as well. I really liked Magdelen, and Amabella. Never heard of Amabella, it seems rare, but trendy enough with all the [name_f]Bella[/name_f]'s. I also like [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. Would it be considered too old fashioned for nowadays standards?
Actually, I consider [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] a hipster-ish name! I was visiting a nearby city and I heard of a little two year old [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] in their [name_f]Earth[/name_f] Fare grocery store. That may turn you off for me to say hipster-ish, but I think it’s cool to see parents use a name that would seem stale, but bring it to life with their sweet kiddos
