I was wondering what could hold me back from usng the name [name]Nolan[/name]. I want to know before I use it. Is it destined to become super popular? Is there any negative connotations? I just like it so much it seems too good to be true! Any input is appreciated!
I like [name]Nolan[/name] for its Irish spunkiness. One word of caution: last year it was No# 104 in the US (up 18 places from the previous year). Now, of course, this means that only 3,666 boys were given this name so the statistics are not as alarming as you would think. However, if the trend continues, [name]Nolan[/name] will be in the top 100 boys names next year. I think a lot of parents choose it to honor baseball player [name]Nolan[/name] [name]Ryan[/name] but his real first name was actually [name]Lynn[/name] It also suffers from the overuse of names that end in “an”, “en” and “in” . My guess is that it won’t be super popular like [name]Ethan[/name], [name]Jayden[/name] or [name]Aiden[/name] because I think it’s still pretty distinct. The only advice I would give you is to choose it because you love it! Regards, [name]Mischa[/name].
I don’t think [name]Nolan[/name] is destined to become super popular. I don’t see it ever rising above #50. There aren’t any negative associations that I’m aware of. It’s a great name. If you love it, use it!
Technically, this isn’t a negative association, but in the UK there used to be this group of singers called the [name]Nolan[/name] Sisters, who I really don’t like, but that’s just me
