I think that I might have figured out our Final name choice. Yet I still find myself looking … which with my sons once I found their names that was it I Loved them. Makes me wonder if this really is my final choice or for some reason I’m just being extra picky because it’s a girl? Hmm …

I adore [name]Violet[/name]! It sounds fun and young, yet very sophisticated at the same time. It’s just gorgeously feminine but has a lot of strength; a very good choice indeed!
[name]Marie[/name], however, I’m not so keen on. It’s pretty and fairy-like, but it’s very common as a middle name, and sounds very 1970s-1990s.
[name]May[/name] I suggest: [name]Violet[/name] [name]Maria[/name]? Much prettier, and more up to date in my opinion. I’m not saying at all that there is anything wrong with [name]Violet[/name] [name]Marie[/name], because there most definitely isn’t(!!!), but I personally would choose a less common middle name. I hope you find something wonderful for your daughter anyway!
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Marie[/name] is pretty, but I agree with the pp that [name]Violet[/name] [name]Maria[/name] is even prettier! Either way, you cannot go wrong, as [name]Violet[/name] is a beautiful, feminine classic! 
Depending on your last name, [name]Violet[/name] [name]Mae[/name] might have better flow. I like [name]Violet[/name] a lot, for all the reasons listed above. No harm in looking, though, it may make you feel more committed to your choice. Best wishes!
I love [name]Violet[/name] [name]Marie[/name]! [name]Violet[/name] is the name of my three year old daughter and she gets complimented on it almost every time we leave the house. Everyone seems to love this name! We have only met one other [name]Violet[/name] so it doesn’t seem terribly common. To me, it is spunky, sweet, old-fashioned, elegant…pretty much everything you want in a name. I actually like [name]Marie[/name] with it better than [name]Maria[/name]. [name]Marie[/name] adds to the vintage charm. Good luck!

I like it! And for what it’s worth, I vastly prefer [name]Marie[/name] to [name]Maria[/name]. (Possibly because where I live, [name]Maria[/name] is extremely common and overused)
