Just at the top of your head, which one would you go with? [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] has more than one way of being said, I’ve been told, but I see it as the one closest to [name_f]Emily[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] (and I would pronounce it AWM-eh-lee.)
I really like both, can’t decide! I think I prefer Amelie right now but this might change tomorrow
I say ah-meh-lee.
I love both names! I think my favorite is [name_f]Anya[/name_f] but it’s very, very close.
Anya for sure! I love it and I don’t think I’ve actually ever met anyone named [name_f]Anya[/name_f]!
I love [name_f]Anya[/name_f]!
I prefer [name_f]Anya[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Anya[/name_f] although [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] is lovely aswell
Anya!
Anya! [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] is just so weird looking and sounding to me. Either go with [name_f]Emily[/name_f] or [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. It isn’t a bad name but it’s weird to me. [name_f]Anya[/name_f] is very beautiful. (I might be the only one and I’m truly sorry if anyone is named this, just my opinion).
Amelie. It has such a sweet lilting sound. Whenever I say [name_f]Anya[/name_f] all I can hear is someone yelling for onions
I prefer [name_f]Anya[/name_f] personally! It’s a little more uncommon than [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], and I love how romantic (yet strong) it feels. It’s also quite fun to say.
Amelie is adorable, but I think I prefer the spunky [name_f]Anya[/name_f].
Anya, although I quite like both. I didn’t know there were other pronunciations of [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], I pronounce it like [name_f]Emily[/name_f] but the first syllable is “ay” instead of “eh”.
Anya!
Amelie is too much like [name_f]Emily[/name_f]
I like both, but I prefer [name_f]Amelie[/name_f]! Sometimes [name_f]Anya[/name_f] strikes me as the tiniest bit dated.
Anya [name_f]Anya[/name_f] [name_f]Anya[/name_f]!!
I’ve really been crushing on [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] lately! Definitely understand how it’s close to [name_f]Emily[/name_f], but I think it’s more fresh and unique. [name_f]Anya[/name_f] is pretty too, but I definitely prefer [name_f]Amelie[/name_f].
Anya. I prefer [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] to [name_f]Amelie[/name_f], unless you live on [name_f]France[/name_f] or another [name_u]French[/name_u]-speaking country.
Amelie!
