I met a young girl today called “[name]Berk[/name]-EET.” Not sure how it was spelled. I may have misheard but fairly certain I didn’t. Does it resemble any name you’ve heard of, is it a name you know? I would probably spell it out Berquitte or Birquitte.
I know someone called [name]Birgit[/name] but it’s pronouced beer-GEET. The only thing I could think of.

Makes me think of “parakeet!” I have no idea about the spelling… I’ve seen [name]Birgit[/name], [name]Birgitte[/name], but never Birkitte/Birqitte.

I know a little girl named Biretoket. It means orange blossom in Amharic. They call her Birto.
