Anyone have suggestions for last names?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all. I’m planning to legally change my first and last name and I wanted some ideas for last names. I’m pretty set on the first name which is either going to be Annessa or [name_f]Annette[/name_f].

I really like the last name [name_u]Lane[/name_u] so right now Annessa [name_u]Lane[/name_u] is my top choice. But I really want some other ideas from you all. Here is a list of last names I like:

As you can probably tell I like ‘airy’ sounding names with lots of vowels. I don’t like harsh consonant sounds. Also meanings aren’t super important to me.

You’ve a great list there. My top favourite is [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] - I think it sounds fantastic with both Annessa and [name_f]Annette[/name_f].

The most important thing, though, is that it resonates with you.

Personally, when I was choosing my new last name a few years ago, I wanted to choose a name that held some personal meaning, sounded good with my first name, and wasn’t so unusual that people would keep asking about it. I found some advice online about compiling a list based on places, historical figures, authors, film/book characters, animals, plants etc that are meaningful to you and seeing it anything clicks. That’s how I ended up finding mine.
