this is kind of a bandwagon post, i saw someone else do this and decided to give it a shot!! tell me a little bit about your oc/character/anyone really e.g. their looks, aesthetic, personality and name and i will draw them just for fun! pls don’t take it personally if they turn out bad!!

My main character is named Lilara (lih-law-ruh), but she goes by Lila (lie-luh pronunciation). I imagine her with dark, wavy hair and dark, dark eyes, but I’m not sure yet. She’s a bit strange, always lost in her own fantasies, and has obsessive tendencies. She is her own best friend — she’s one of those people who rarely speaks at loud, but always seem like they’re deep in conversation with themselves.
The story is set in a fairytale-like universe and centers on a young girl, Lila, and her younger brother, Olly. Each year, two young girls from across the kingdom are selected and brought forward to become playthings of the royal family, where they break your body, your soul, and finally your mind. It’s essentially a death sentence, except for they don’t offer you the mercy of death.
Long story short, Lila ends up receiving a letter and is taken away from her family. She begins to slowly go insane, and her story mirrors her mother’s, who went through the same thing years before.

He has daddy issues because after his mom died his dad completely shut down and was emotionally absent. Recently, his dad announced he’s getting married to some 20something he met and now wants to start acting like a happy family all of a sudden

She’s like the type of friend who always has crazy ideas that shouldn’t work but do.
