I’m having my first child and I really believe there’s an app for that. I was alright with doing it on my own at first but my nerves got the best of me the other day and I’ve been looking all around for apps and sites that might be able to help me get through the pregnancy and keep me and my child healthy afterward. I was referred this thing called patientory by a friend. It’s in beta but it looks promising, I guess. I may try it out if anyone else has anything to say about it. Has anyone used anything like this to help them?
I’ve been using an app called Glow and I kind of like it. I think it stops at 40 weeks though which doesn’t seem right to me since so many women go over that. I do however like that I can track symptoms and read short articles (although some don’t seem 100% correct) about what’s going on each day. I haven’t been able to find any that I like better although I may try out the one you mentioned too!
I’m using Ovia Pregnancy, it’s nice because they have a chat room feature so you can ask other pregnant women questions and get answers! (some can be pretty dumb or only a doctor can answer, but for the most part I think it’s useful).
I used Ovia too… But I should point out that I only downloaded it so that I could get the weekly “your baby is as big as…” thing. I also like the occasional receipt but haven’t used it much since…
it does have nice features for people who want to keep a calendar, use forums, or watch a small weekly video if that’s what you are into.
Sorry for responding so late. I’m going to check out both Glow and Ovia though, I really appreciate the help!
