so this is another honor name idea.
my dad LOVES hunting, like to the point I think he loves it more than me. I was originally thinking of using [name_f]Gunhilda[/name_f] to honor him. but I kind of like using [name_m]Apollo[/name_m]. the name of the greek god of the hunt. it also has a nice connection to the space project and it just sounds cool.
[name_u]John[/name_u] has another special meaning. my dad is famous for hating horror movies, like he can’t stand them, but I am a horror movie encyclopedia. and my favorite movie series is [name_m]Saw[/name_m]. when he found that out he sat down and watched all eight movies with me (I don’t consider Spiral to be a saw movie if anyone is wondering) and he’ll be taking me to see the new one when it comes out in [name_u]September[/name_u]. it’s probably the sweetest thing anyone has done for me.
[name_u]John[/name_u] also has a connection to my mom, it’s the name of her favorite singer (John Farnham) and my favorite singer (John Lennon), so all around, the name is very meaningful to me.
so what do you guys think of [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] [name_u]John[/name_u]?

I think it’s a fab name - I love the mix of unusual and super classic/simple (and who doesn’t love Farnsie!).

It’s an absolutely gorgeous name I love it, but [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] isn’t the Greek god of hunting, that’s his twin sister [name_u]Artemis[/name_u]. [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] is the god of music, healing and the sun. If you want something with hunting the masc versions of [name_u]Artemis[/name_u], [name_m]Artemas[/name_m] and [name_m]Artemus[/name_m] would definitely work

For some other ideas for hunting, [name_m]Theron[/name_m] means ‘to hunt’, [name_u]Chase[/name_u] means ‘hunt’ (it was originally given as a nn to hunters), the obvious [name_u]Hunter[/name_u], Eryl ‘hunt’ (it’s only this specific spelling that means this but there’s also the name [name_m]Errol[/name_m] which is pronounced pretty much the same). [name_m]Just[/name_m] some random ideas that have it in the meaning, you could also go with names that have to do with forest/wilderness/etc
