Applying current naming trends to the opposite gender

How would you apply your culture’s current naming trends to the opposite gender? So if you had to use the current trends for girls names to make a list of boys names and using the current trends for boys names to make a list of girls names what would that look like? List as many or as little names as you want

Not telling you where I’m from but to give you an idea what the current naming trends are.

girls - very pan-european, they have been dubbed “lalelu” names as they are vowel heavy and sound similar, girl names are more often diminutives then boy names and the endings are mostly i/y and a.

boys - for boys there are more traditional names popular then for girls, more consonant heavy, “harder” sounding but with some softer names here and there and the endings are more diverse.

as far as i’m aware, greece doesn’t really do “name trends” but i think ancient greek, mythological, and non-greek names have become more common in the last ten years! it’s a trend observed with both girls and boys, but maybe slightly more so for girls, so i guess genderbending it would be seeing more boys named things like perseas, ionas, leandros, erotokritos, ektoras, ares, etcetera!

Great idea and I really enjoyed looking at your lists!

Based on the UK top names, I’d say the trends where I am are:

Summary

Girls: longer classics, nickname-y names, floral/nature-y names, vintage/old-lady names, names inspired by popular media, international names, two syllable names

Boys: timeless classics, nickname-y names (usually from old-man names), Biblical names, names with an American vibe, surname-y names, old man names

Some of the trends cross over, but I’d consider these
