WDYT of it with the possible nn [name_f]Minty[/name_f]? Is the nickname too weird?
Not at all. I think it’s lovely.
I love [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], but I’m not a fan of [name_f]Minty[/name_f].
I think it’s adorable!
I adore [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] and [name_f]Minty[/name_f], as well as [name_f]Amity[/name_f], [name_f]Aminta[/name_f], and Mint.
It is romantic and womanly and old-fashioned yet because of “mint” it feels fresher than say, [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] or [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f].
If I had another daughter, this would be her name!
I usually love [name_u]Ara[/name_u]- names, but there’s something about the minta bit that I’m not a fan of. I suppose [name_f]Minty[/name_f] is a pretty cute nn, though it does remind me a lot of [name_m]Monty[/name_m], or toothpaste. Sorry, it’s a nice enough name, I just cannot get into it.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] because of all the nicknames that spring out of it! Beautiful name with [name_m]Black[/name_m] history cred, thanks to [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] Tubman.
I find myself liking this name more and more, don’t think I’d have the guts to ever use it on a real daughter though.
As a nn I prefer [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] over [name_f]Minty[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] nn [name_f]Minty[/name_f]. I wish I was bold enough to use it. I think it is awesome.
One of my favorites nixed by my partner. I think I’d go with [name_u]Min[/name_u] or Airy for a nn.
I’m not a fan of the ‘Mint’ sound in [name_f]Araminta[/name_f] and [name_f]Minty[/name_f]. I much prefer [name_f]Ariadne[/name_f] and [name_f]Ariana[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Araminta[/name_f], though I’m not a fan of the nickname [name_f]Minty[/name_f].
