So we have a toddler named [name]Archer[/name] [name]Cole[/name] & are expecting again. We don’t know the sex so have to narrow down some lists. Our surname starts with T, is 2 syllable & ends in ey, a very frustrating one to work with! I don’t want to be too rhymey with either [name]Archer[/name]'s name or our surname, but some of these below break the rules as I love them!
Boys
[name]Harris[/name] [name]Gray[/name]
[name]Hudson[/name] [name]Arlo[/name]
[name]Nash[/name] ( not sure of mn yet)
[name]Huxley[/name] [name]Gray[/name]
[name]Darby[/name] [name]Harris[/name]
Girls
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Greer[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]/[name]Greer[/name] [name]Alice[/name]/[name]Greer[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name]
[name]Eden[/name] [name]Marlow[/name]/[name]Eden[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Winter[/name]
[name]Carolina[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Thea[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]/[name]Thea[/name] [name]Constance[/name]
[name]Noa[/name] [name]Florence[/name] (guilty pleasure, don’t think I could use it amongst all the Noahs here!).
I love [name]Harris[/name] [name]Gray[/name] with [name]Archer[/name] [name]Cole[/name]. I also really like [name]Huxley[/name] but I dont know that I would be brave enough to use it. Another suggestion is [name]Drake[/name] [name]Hudson[/name].
I am partial to [name]Alice[/name] because its DD name. I actually prefer [name]ALice[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] to [name]ALice[/name] winter though. I also think [name]Carolina[/name] and [name]Thea[/name] are beautiful.
Thanks for your feedback kerrymonster! I found another ‘H’ boys name that I don’t mind either - [name]Hallam[/name] nn [name]Hal[/name], so that might have to go on the list too. I find boys so easy to name, but girls are another matter entirely!
1 [name]Harris[/name] [name]Gray[/name] - very handsome and goes well with [name]Archer[/name]
2 [name]Hudson[/name] [name]Arlo[/name] - you really love “ar” in your names, don’t you?
[name]Nash[/name] is too short and lacks substance. [name]Huxley[/name] and [name]Darby[/name] share the same ending as your surname so they may so too cutesy.
Girls
1 [name]Eden[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] - a great mix of nature and classic names
2 [name]Alice[/name] [name]Winter[/name] - if you don’t mind another “A” initial. This is lovely. Does the “t” in [name]Winter[/name] sound ok with your “T” surname?
3 [name]Carolina[/name] [name]Quinn[/name] - I like this combo
I love [name]Audrey[/name] but not with a surname ending in “ey”. I find [name]Greer[/name] more masculine in sound than [name]Archer[/name]. [name]Thea[/name] may be too heavy on the t’s and “ee” sounds with your surname. I don’t really like [name]Noa[/name] with [name]Archer[/name].
Thanks [name]Mischa[/name], your feedback is so helpful. I do love [name]Audrey[/name] too but think I have to be realistic & let it go. I like [name]Alice[/name] but there is the ‘A’ initial to contend with so I think that’s gone too. I love the rolling soft sound of [name]Arlo[/name] for a boy’s middle name, it seems to balance out the first names really well. [name]Thea[/name] does go quite well with our surname but just not sure if it’s got enough in it for me. Anyway, will keep working on it, got a few more months yet!
