I think [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] would age better than [name_m]Archer[/name_m], and it will never go out of style - do you have any ideas for a middle name/want to give him a middle name?

Thanks for your thoughts ciottolo. That has crossed my mind as [name_m]Archer[/name_m] is a more fashionable name where [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is traditional. If it’s thomas we will use [name_m]Archer[/name_m] as a middle name.

I love [name_m]Archer[/name_m], it’s one of my name crushes right now, and it just seems to have more life in than [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] does.

You could always name him [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], as he’d then have a sold, traditional middle name to fall back on, if he should so choose.

I personally prefer [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], but I was going to suggest [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] as well

I really like both names, but my vote is for is for [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. I can just see it working for any little boy. [name_m]Archer[/name_m] is such a strong sounding name that if he ends up being nerdy or artistic or anything other than a buff jock it will seem a little unfitting. That’s not to say it won’t work, it just might sound a bit off depending on his personality. Congrats on your bundle of joy!

I love both of these names, but I personally prefer [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] as a middle (not a big fan of [name_m]Tom[/name_m]/[name_m]Tommy[/name_m]). [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] would be fab!!! Good luck & congrats!

Thanks for your thoughts, we are still a little torn. I really love [name_m]Archer[/name_m] but [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] feels like the ‘safer’ option.

I like [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] but love the name [name_m]Archer[/name_m]… I agree with some posters above I would combine the two with [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]… Unless you cant because you have a family name for the MN then I would definitely go with [name_m]Archer[/name_m]. The NN [name_m]Archie[/name_m] has also stood the test of time.

I personally prefer [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. Have you considered [name_m]Asher[/name_m]? It has a similar feel style wise to [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], but also the quirk that [name_m]Archer[/name_m] offers.

I prefer [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], but if you really like [name_m]Archer[/name_m] then don’t be afraid to use it! Both [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] are adorable.

I have always loved [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. That would be my choice.

However, the two names you have chosen go very well together as first and middle names. [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], and [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Archer[/name_m] both flow nicely. I say use both.

[name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Archer[/name_m] would be my pick!
