[name]Both[/name] are so pretty! I honestly think of [name]Arden[/name] as more of a boys name but its unusual enough that it would suit a girl just fine. [name]Noella[/name] with the nn [name]Noa[/name] is so adorable though, either way you have 2 beautiful names to choose from. Good luck!
Oh, they are both sooooo beautiful!!! I love to see someone use [name]Noella[/name], and [name]Arden[/name] is so gorgeous! I think you’ve chosen very well, and it’s great to have to names to choose from when you see her! I honestly can’t choose which one to vote, will think about it and do it later!
I think [name]Arden[/name] [name]Skye[/name] is beautiful.
[name]Both[/name] choices are nice, but I’ve always loved [name]Arden[/name] I have both [name]Arden[/name] and [name]Skye[/name] on my list!
I chose [name]Arden[/name]. It’s the name of the forest in [name]Shakespeare[/name]'s As You Like It, and I love it paired with [name]Skye[/name] as it completes the nature imagery (albeit subtly). [name]Noella[/name] is pretty but it’s a bit… mealy in the mouth, if that makes sense. [name]Arden[/name] has more bite, more strength.
I chose [name]Arden[/name]; it’s far more interesting than [name]Noella[/name] to me. Either way, I love [name]Skye[/name] for a mn. However, using [name]Noa[/name] for a nn increases the appeal of [name]Noella[/name].
[name]Noella[/name] [name]Skye[/name] is lovely! I will go with [name]Noella[/name] because one of my favorite names is [name]Noelia[/name] - and since [name]Noella[/name] reminds me of it, I go for that.
I chose [name]Arden[/name] [name]Skye[/name]. [name]Noella[/name] is pretty too, (I do like the [name]Noe[/name]- for a name) but I prefer [name]Noelle[/name] or [name]Noelia[/name].
I think you should use all 3 names - [name]Both[/name] [name]Arden[/name] [name]Noella[/name] [name]Skye[/name] and [name]Noella[/name] [name]Arden[/name] [name]Skye[/name] are beautiful! Then you can use any of the nicknames that seem to fit her best. That’s what I would do!
Well I can’t comment completely without knowing how it sounds with your last name, but I am sure you have considered that and if it is still a tie then I have to cast my vote for [name]Arden[/name]. It has always been one of my favorite names and I think [name]Arden[/name] [name]Skye[/name] is Gorgeous. I love what you did with [name]Skye[/name] in the middle either way, but it’s just that I love [name]Arden[/name] so much in general and in regards to these two options [name]Noella[/name] just isn’t my style. Congrats and good luck! =]
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I [name]JUST[/name] noticed I spelled [name]Skye[/name] wrong in the poll but you all get the point.
Two points, Im not a fan of double middle names and I love both names too much to stick one in the middle. I mean, what if we had another girl! Haha
Our last name is two syllables and [name]IMO[/name] works with both names but the first syllable does end in R.
[name]Hi[/name] tinabina.
I’d just like to say how much I loved your name-story, it’s so beautiful and touching! [name]Skye[/name] is my ALL time favourite name for a girl, so I really love your mn choice! I found it difficult to choose between [name]Noella[/name] and [name]Arden[/name] as I think they are both beautiful, but I made my choice going on that you are definitely having a girl now, and [name]Noella[/name] is all girl, so my opinion would be to use it now because [name]Arden[/name] is unisex, so it frees you up to save it for a future baby, whether it is a boy OR a girl, even though there is the connection with this baby and the area where you live. I mean, what if you used [name]Arden[/name], and then never had another girl, would you regret not using [name]Noella[/name]?
If I’m pushed, I also think that 3 syllable [name]Noella[/name] has a slightly better flow with 1 syllable [name]Skye[/name] compared to 2 syllable [name]Arden[/name]. It depends on your surname. All the best and looking forward to the birth announcement!
They are both beautiful names! I love [name]Arden[/name], and would vote for it, except for the story you told. [name]How[/name] lovely to have that experience! I’m also a chronic nicknamer, and there are some other wonderful nicknames for [name]Noella[/name]: Nono, [name]Ellie[/name] (Bellie optional!), [name]Nell[/name], [name]Lala[/name]… I could go on!
[name]Tina[/name] love your choices! They are both beautiful names. I prefer [name]Arden[/name] to [name]Noella[/name] but I love the story with [name]Noella[/name] so it’s difficult to choose between them. I think the sound of [name]Arden[/name] [name]Skye[/name] is a little more appealing but you both love [name]Noella[/name]! Would love to hear how they flow with your last name, pm me : ) x
I love the way you chose the name [name]Skye[/name]. Anyway, my vote is for [name]Arden[/name] [name]Skye[/name]
You all seem to be having the same dilemma as me haha I love that my husband had the connection w/ the name [name]Noella[/name] at the u/s, but I just love the name [name]Arden[/name] so much too and it also has current meaning! It’s REALLY going to come down to meeting her, SHE will tell us who she is my husband wouldn’t be upset if we didn’t go w/ [name]Noella[/name] even though he had that connection because he too forgot about the name [name]Arden[/name] at the time… and agrees we should pick the name that suits her best rather than what makes a good story.
We already have two boy names picked out so using [name]Arden[/name] as a boy name wouldn’t work, plus it’s all girl for me, even though it used to be a predominantly boy name.
The boy names would either be [name]Edmond[/name] [name]Jasper[/name], [name]Silas[/name] [name]Glenn[/name], [name]Silas[/name] [name]Edmond[/name]… I feel like [name]Silas[/name] and [name]Arden[/name] ([name]Sy[/name] and [name]Ari[/name]) go well together, and [name]Edmond[/name] and [name]Noella[/name] ([name]Eddie[/name] and [name]Noa[/name]) go well together… nothing is helping my case haha but that’s ok, it’s what we wanted! We wanted a couple names we loved so we can decide after meeting her.
[name]Arden[/name] [name]Skye[/name] is absolutely beautiful!—We had [name]Arden[/name] on our short list for our girl too! (Went with [name]Adler[/name]:)…Cant wait to hear who she really is!
I really like [name]Noella[/name] a lot. So sing-songy and such a sweet story about your ultrasound! I really like [name]Arden[/name] in theory (and love the nickname [name]Ari[/name] for a girl) but the only [name]Arden[/name] I’ve ever met was a stodgy 70 year old man so I just have a personal bias against it. [name]Both[/name] names are fantastic, though, and sound great with [name]Skye[/name]. They have such different images to me that I’m sure you’ll know when you see her which she’ll be.
Also, [name]Silas[/name] is AMAZING! And I love the nickname [name]Eddie[/name]. I am no help at all. You should have picked out some uglier names so it would be easier to narrow them down!
I voted for [name]Noella[/name] because [name]Noelle[/name] is on my list as well, but both are really pretty fantastic names and you really can’t go wrong!
My advice is to practice introducing her to people, “This is my daughter [name]Noella[/name]” or writing the whole family on a card “From [name]Tina[/name], [name]Justin[/name] and [name]Arden[/name]” for example. Also imagine yelling it at her when she’s getting in trouble “[name]Noella[/name], stop climbing on that!” “[name]Arden[/name], don’t pull Mommy’s hair!” Eventually one name will start to feel more right.
We went to the hospital with a few options that we loved too, but we were definitely leaning towards one because it was the one we could picture yelling out at the playground.
Good luck!
