[name_m]Hi[/name_m], berries! What are your honest thoughts on the name [name_u]Arden[/name_u] for a girl? What do you love/dislike about it?

I like it! It feels cool and modern, but still traditional and real. I really like the way it looks- neat and clean and pretty! I don’t love the “ard” sound, but the good aspects make up for that

I love the name, and feel it could work well on a boy or a girl. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite nn for it is Ardy.

I really like [name_u]Arden[/name_u]. It’s strong, it’s not frilly, it’s dynamic. [name_f]My[/name_f] only problem is that it gives me the same weird “mouth feel” as [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] - I trip over the rd a bit.

It’s not personally my style, but it’s nice. Gives me a kind of hilly, nature-ish vibe.

I want to like it, It makes me think of frilly Victorian romances and valentines. however it’s similarity to the word ‘harden’ is a little off putting for me personally

I really like it - As You Like It is one of my favourite [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] plays, and I like its simple yet glistening sound.

It reminds me of the perfume/brand [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Arden[/name_u] which doesn’t bother me. I think it has a classy sound.

I really like [name_u]Arden[/name_u]! Sadly the one thing that got me to like the name less is the similarity to harden.

It makes me think of the word “ardent” which I’ve always taken as “overzealous” or “overenthusiastic” but I Googled it and it just means “passionate” which is nice.

I don’t care for it, but I can see the appeal.

The only thing I don’t like about it is it sounds like harden to me. But I don’t dislike it as a name, just would be more apt to choose [name_u]Arbor[/name_u] or another A name.

I like it a lot! I’d be more likely to choose the similar [name_u]Aspen[/name_u], but that’s just a sound preference.

Don’t really love the name [name_u]Arden[/name_u] but it would be refreshing to see it on a little girl!
