Expecting baby girl #2 and both hubby and I love the name [name_f]Briar[/name_f]. We have a dog called [name_f]Brie[/name_f] though and my biggest concern is that it is too similar. [name_m]Will[/name_m] I have name regret? [name_m]Will[/name_m] there be too much name confusion? What do you Berries think?
I don’t think they’re too close. I mean, they are very close in look but not really in sound. Also because it’s your dog’s name, I don’t think it really matters

I think it’s totally fine, as long as [name_f]Brie[/name_f] wouldn’t be [name_f]Briar[/name_f]'s nickname. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] that makes sense!

Thank you everyone, when my parents named their dog a rhyming name with mine it was a little bug bear of mine, so has made me more conscious of making the right decision for my daughter.
