Are Christian and Cordelia too close for siblings?

Lots of the names we love start with C but we already have a son named [name]Christian[/name] so we’re wondering if we should count those names out. The sibset would be:

[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name]
[name]Jude[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]
[name]Christian[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name]
[name]Violet[/name] [name]Annabelle[/name]
[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Cordelia[/name] [name]June[/name] “[name]Cora[/name]”

[name]Do[/name] the two C names make it awkward? Does [name]Cordelia[/name] go well with my other kiddos’ names in general? Thanks for the help!

They work imo!

The sounds are different enough that it’s not too matchy.

I agree with @taz, I think it works with the sibset well.

My rule for matching initials is its usually okay if:

They are different syllable counts
They are not variations on the same name
They end in a different sound

[name]Cordelia[/name] and [name]Christian[/name] pass on all three counts, to me they sound fine together.

I agree with the others–[name]Christian[/name] and [name]Cordelia[/name] definitely work. I think it especially works since there are all those other (beautifully named!) siblings whose names don’t start with a “C”.

I think they work well together. They are definitely different enough to avoid seeming matchy-matchy or clashy, and the whole set goes together nicely!

Not at all, I don’t think you should worry too much about the two C beginnings. [name]Cordelia[/name] is beautiful. [name]Cora[/name] is stunning.

They work great together. If [name]Cordelia[/name] was a second child, I would worry about future children and keeping with C names. But since you have many children already, I think [name]Cordelia[/name] fits right in. I love the names of all your children btw.

I think they complement each other very nicely. The whole set sounds good.

They are both lovely names! Not to close at all!

I agree with the others, [name]Christian[/name] and [name]Cordelia[/name] sounds great to me! (as an aside, I [name]LOVE[/name] the names [name]Cordelia[/name] and [name]Cora[/name]! and I think your children are wonderfully named.)
