My daughter’s name is [name]Elle[/name] and I love the name [name]Isla[/name]. My husband thinks they sound too alike. Thoughts?
I think they’re too similar, sorry.
They are pretty similar but I’m in a minority here that thinks you’re a kid for a short period of time where your names are matched with your sibs. I will give a practical piece though as a teacher I have SUCH a hard time with siblings with same letter names that sound the same-- but all that happens is I call the wrong kid the wrong name.
I don’t think they’re too close. My brothers’ names are way more similar than [name]Elle[/name] and [name]Isla[/name], and we’ve survived just fine, haha.
I think [name]Elle[/name] and [name]Isla[/name] are nice together!
