My husband and I finally agreed on a name for our baby girl due in 3 weeks which is [name]Claire[/name] [name]Theresa[/name]. My son’s name is [name]Nathan[/name] [name]Robert[/name]. I just happened to Google the two names together and a bunch of Heroes articles came up. I never really watched the show. [name]Do[/name] you think I’ll get a lot of Heroes comments about having a [name]Nathan[/name] and [name]Claire[/name]? Should we start looking for a different name? We have the name [name]Charlotte[/name] on the back burner - the only reason we don’t want to use [name]Charlotte[/name] is because we already have someone in the family with the name. When I think of [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Nathan[/name], I think of 2 classic names that go well together! I did not think of Heroes at all.

I think you have made a great choice with [name]Claire[/name] [name]Theresa[/name]! In my opinion your family and loved ones should know you and your husband well enough to know you aren’t Heroes fans. Anyone else shouldn’t have a strong enough opinion to comment! I come from a small community where everyone has a comment/opinion on everything, so I have become pretty immune to the ones that don’t matter to me.

I watched Heroes and still didn’t think of it when I heard your names until you pointed it out. [name]Claire[/name] is a great name…go for it!
Like other people said, I’m a huge Heroes fan but I never would have made the connection as the names haven’t been made recognisable by the tv show. They were already popular classic names on their own which just happened to both be used on this show…along with [name]Peter[/name], [name]Noah[/name], [name]Niki[/name], [name]Isaac[/name], [name]Matt[/name], [name]Angela[/name], [name]Samuel[/name], [name]Tracy[/name] and [name]Elle[/name]!

If you were going to have [name]Luke[/name] and [name]Laura[/name] I’d say yes, but those two Heroes names - you are fine!!!
