Two of my favourite names for future children are [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Morgan[/name]. [name]Both[/name] would be for girls and I would pronounce [name]Rowan[/name] with row as in an argument rather than rowing boat. Are these names too close to be sisters? Older siblings are [name]Kerry[/name] and [name]Rory[/name]. (for that matter are [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Rory[/name] too matchy?)
Thanks, [name]Ellie[/name].
I don’t think they are too matchy.
I don’t think [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Morgan[/name] are too close, but [name]Morgan[/name], [name]Rory[/name] and [name]Rowan[/name] all together are. It’s a lot of repeating the or/ro letters.
You pronounce row different in argument and boating? I don’t. Anyhoo, my childhood best friend and I both had names that were two syllables and the like eh-un (fay isn’t my real name.) When called from afar you couldn’t tell the names apart, even though otherwise they were very different.
I’m scottish, so yes I say them row and row differently. I’m glad that people don’t think they’re too close although I now see the or repetition probably going to go with [name]Rowan[/name] then if I ever need to.
No- they are a lovely sib-set though!
I think they sound nice together! I loove the name [name]Morgan[/name] too btw
