Are Simone and Marion Too Similar?

What the title says! [name_u]Marion[/name_u] is pronounced [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-in. I’d love to hear other’s input. TIA!

I don’t think they’re too close!

I don’t think so— they both have distinctive sounds, so it should be okay!

They do share a lot of letters, but they sound nothing alike, so I think you’re good.

They kind of sound similar but not rhyming or matchy. I think they work well together

I actually think these names fit each other super well as a sibset!

They’re certainly distinct enough for siblings (no question) but I think I get where you’re coming from.

I would prefer to have entirely distinct first names for all my children: not starting or ending with the same letter or similar sounds. I think I’ll probably be able to pull it off because we only plan to have two children. Adding more to the mix would absolutely make it more challenging. Is this what’s bothering you?

I think that’s what is tripping me up. I feel like they should sound similar but they don’t.

Definitely not.
