Not men who are dropping in briefly to discuss naming their child, but regular posters?
My work environment is such a sausage fest that this has been an interesting change for me. I haven’t detected a single Y chromosome yet, but perhaps my man-dar is off?
Erm, I think there’s a poster called @fatherknowsbest? He hasn’t really seemed to post about his own children, so I thought he might be posting just out of interest. I don’t remember his username, but a while ago there was a teenage boy who posted fairly often, too, just because he loved names. He hasn’t been around in a while, though.
I remember [name]Chelsea[/name]! He was really nice he helped me a lot when I was obsessed with [name]Addison[/name] and [name]Harper[/name], but disliked them on girls.
I think there was a man who had adopted a few children with his partner a while back as well, can’t remember the username though, just from his posts and sig.
I’m still here (and thanks for the nice comments), but been lurking more of late as I’ve been given some additional work responsibilities and had less time to post. I maybe getting someone to help me soon which hopefully will free up a bit more time of my free time to post again
[name]Hope[/name] you all have a great holiday weekend!
There was a father whose user name was “norsedad” who was expecting his first and only child. He said that he and his wife were going to be older parents would only be having one child. He was on Nameberry around 2009 for months with many, many polls to pick names in a sports play-off format – with round-after-round of threads to discuss the perfect girl and boy name combinations. (At one point, I remember he was almost sure about the name [name]Thor[/name], but later switched to Amund and then was considering others. I can’t remember his girl name considerations.) I’ve looked to find out if he ever posted the name of his child, but I cannot find any conclusion to his naming saga. He took the naming of his child as seriously as I’ve ever seen.
Hello! I think this might be referring to me…I have a son named MJ (TJ is just so close!). Unfortunately, with three kids all under the age of seven (we also have two daughters), I haven’t had quite the amount of time I’d like to come around the Nameberry boards and give some male opinions! But I’m still here! And funny that I happened to run into this thread
[name]Hope[/name] everyone is doing well,
