HELP! I love the name [name_m]Stellan[/name_m] for my second boy. Most of my family hates it, and the only thing holding me back from fighting for it is the lack of cool nicknames.
Does anyone have any cool nickname ideas for this one?

I love [name_m]Stellan[/name_m]. [name_m]Stellan[/name_m] means Peacful as does [name_u]Pax[/name_u] so you could use it as a nickname.
[name_m]Stellan[/name_m] is such a cool name. I can see the downside of it being similar to [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellen[/name_f], but I still think it’s quite masculine and has a nice meaning. And I totally second the idea of [name_u]Pax[/name_u] as a nickname, as well as [name_m]Eli[/name_m], [name_u]Sal[/name_u], [name_m]Satch[/name_m], and [name_u]Lanny[/name_u]/[name_m]Lenny[/name_m].

Still (I like Still because of the relation between stillness and peacefulness, since [name_m]Stellan[/name_m] means peace)
Some of them are a stretch, but I personally like creative nicknames that aren’t just a shortened version of the name.
I like [name_m]Stellan[/name_m]. I considered it and using Lan as a nickname (because I’m a nerd and love Lan from Wheel of Time ”). My husband vetoed it though.
[name_u]Landry[/name_u]? Not really shorter. But if you wanted a spin-off that could work.
[name_m]Stellan[/name_m] is such a cool name! I’d personally just use Stell but [name_m]Lenny[/name_m] would work too.
