I know we have the thread for others’ combos (which is so fantastic!), but I think sometimes we just get excited about our own combos and want to share! I know I do, at least.
So what combos on your list make you go “wow”? At least for today?
Today, I’m really swooning over [name_f]Adele[/name_f] [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] and [name_m]Boaz[/name_m] [name_m]Andreas[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] on my own list. What about you?
[name_m]Ah[/name_m], yes! For me it’s [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_f]Elisabet[/name_f] [name_f]Mercédès[/name_f] {not like the car, but like The [name_m]Count[/name_m] of [name_m]Monte[/name_m] Cristo - mer-seh-dehz}. I’m inestimably happy <3
I’m currently loving some of my newer combos. [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] is traditional yet spunky and gives me great medieval and Scottish vibes. [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is a perfect mix of current and vintage and has an important namesake in it. For boys, I love [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]. [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m] has been one of my favorites for a long time and [name_m]William[/name_m] has a very special story that honors my mother’s side of the family. I think the classic [name_m]William[/name_m] balances out the more unusual [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m].

I really love them all, maybe not WOW, but I’m definitely consider all of them (maybe not Chryseida [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], but it’s more GP).
For me, definitely my newer newer combos make me especially excited (after taking a year-long break from NB to focus on college and work, I completely revamped my lists). I would have never have considered [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] a year ago, but seeing it now with the added bonus of the significance the names hold for me and the BF just make me stand back and go wow. Same with [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f]. It is such an out-of-the-box combo for me, and yet somehow, I wonder why I didn’t come up with it sooner.
[name_m]Ronan[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] on the boy’s side will always make me swoon. This one I would have never have come up with on my own, but after the BF and I came up and considered it, I just can’t help but think it flows so well and is just so handsome. Plus, with the BF’s last name starting with an H, I think it’s also fun how the initials ROH also spell out a natural nickname for [name_m]Ronan[/name_m].
It has to be the only two names I have: [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f]. Although I am still deciding between [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f], I can’t help but swoon.

@eoxima - [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] would be perfection for siblings! I love [name_f]Lily[/name_f], too, but I adore [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] together.
[name_m]John[/name_m] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] is my number one combo and has been for years. I’m still so insanely in love with it that I swear my heart skips a beat when I say it. Silly, I know, but I love it.
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] is another one that makes me swoon. I just think it’s incredibly handsome and unique.
A newer one that I’ve come up with is [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_u]Dean[/name_u]. I’m super excited about this combo. I think it’s because I never really cared for either name before, but together they give me that ‘wow’ factor.
I don’t have any girl combos. I’m so bad with girl names! I think I’m just too picky.

For boys, [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] would be my favourite combo, followed by [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m].

[name_f]Fenella[/name_f] [name_u]Vale[/name_u] is one that I’ve had on my mind just today. [name_f]Fenella[/name_f] is so difficult to pair but is very special to me. [name_u]Vale[/name_u] is a mn that I’m actually astounded by the haunting beauty of (although it’s not typically ‘me’). I especially like the ‘veil’ association, because it’s totally not frilly itself but makes me think of intricate lace, mysterious beauty.
I love the imagery of them together; [name_f]Fenella[/name_f] [name_u]Vale[/name_u] sounds like a ethereal princesses. I think it’s that contrast between other-world-ness of with the nature, Earthy-tones that I like ([name_f]Fenella[/name_f] being so foresty, [name_u]Vale[/name_u] meaning valley).
[name_m]Ah[/name_m]. I’ll stop. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Una[/name_f] has been my top combination for a long time ([name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Eira[/name_f] predated her significantly, even) so I guess that deserves a shoutout 
I especially like the idea of little [name_u]Romy[/name_u] with twin brother [name_m]Rufus[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m].
I’m still wowed by my children’s names ([name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Balthazar[/name_m] and [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]), but of course that’s a given when they’re attached to two of the people I love most in the world!

I have favourite boys names but the only combo that I actually love is [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_m]Christian[/name_m].
For girls, I’m really loving [name_f]Viveca[/name_f] [name_u]Lior[/name_u] right now. I haven’t asked my friends about whether it’s appropriate for me to use [name_u]Lior[/name_u] yet, so it may not be acceptable for me in the long run but I love it. I also still like my 2 GP combos: [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] [name_f]Vevina[/name_f].
For boys, I love my recent [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_u]Dean[/name_u], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u], and [name_m]Alistair[/name_m] [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] combos. Most likely these will never get used unless I have more than 2 boys, but I am rather fond of them.
@mega_muffin your kids names are SO wow worthy
I think my top two boys names are pretty awesome: [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Pierce[/name_m].
Unfortunately I tend to very much struggle with girls names, so I have trouble being wowed by my own.
