No kids or anything, but, I’m looking at a list of boys names that I will probably choose if I have children, and I noticed that they end in [name_f]EL[/name_f] (sort of/the sound if [name_f]EL[/name_f]).
I’ve loved these names for years and have only just realised that they end in the same sound. I just saw a post asking if 2 girl names were too close because they both had the same last 3 letters.
I think any two of these would make a handsome sib set. Three might be a bit much.
I know brothers named [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and [name_m]Daniel[/name_m], and I think it’s a lovely sibling set. Yes, they end in the same sound, but they are different enough up front to sound really nice together. They also start with different letters, which helps.
I especially like [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] together, as they are also linked as Biblical names. I think another Biblical name would fit best:
[name_u]Micah[/name_u]
[name_u]Michael[/name_u]
[name_u]Elias[/name_u]
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m]
[name_u]Elisha[/name_u]
[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]/ [name_m]Nathanael[/name_m]
[name_m]Daniel[/name_m]
[name_m]Azriel[/name_m]
I don’t think they sound too similar. The ending is a very diverse one. Plus if they go by nn’s any of them they’re all very different from one another.
I actually know a sibset that includes [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] and [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. There’s actually another boy in between the two but I can’t remember what his name is at the moment.
