Hello Berries!
I am a mom of three with #4 due in [name]October[/name]. All my kiddos have somewhat unique names but I’m struggling this time. DH and I both like [name]Everly[/name] (for a girl) for a first name (a combo of his gma [name]Evelyn[/name] and my gma [name]Beverly[/name]) but now I’ve heard a few others so I don’t want it to be like the next [name]Avery[/name] which there are a ton of in my small town. Either [name]Everly[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] or [name]Everly[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]. I also like [name]Scarlet[/name] [name]Begonia[/name] or [name]Scarlet[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. What do you think? [name]Do[/name] they seem too popular? I have a son named [name]Oakley[/name] [name]Adam[/name] (never met another before), a daughter named [name]Aspen[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] (definitely rising in popularity) and son named [name]Brecken[/name] [name]Charlie[/name]. DH and I are snowboarders so all my kids actually have a tie to snowboarding in some way, but can’t find another snowboarding name at all so aborting that theme and just trying to find unique but not crazy or hard to pronounce/spell names).
Thank you for any input! So happy to have found this site![/FONT]
I think [name]Everly[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] is beautiful!
Snowboarding-related names:
[name]Everly[/name] [name]Snow[/name]
[name]Everly[/name] [name]Neve[/name]
[name]Everly[/name] [name]Eira[/name]
[name]Everly[/name] [name]Winter[/name]
I agree, I like [name]Everly[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]. I don’t think [name]Everly[/name] is a popular name, and if it is going to become popular, it will take a good number of years I think. [name]Scarlet[/name] is waaayyyy more common & popular. I’m not a fan of [name]Everly[/name] [name]Ivy[/name], the two names are too matchy. I like pps suggestion of snow themed mns to keep your snowboarding theme. You wouldn’t want baby 4 to feel left out or how about the name of a place where you’ve been snowboarding together?
[name]Everly[/name] [name]Louise[/name] (for [name]Lake[/name] [name]Louise[/name], [name]Alberta[/name])
[name]Everly[/name] [name]Vail[/name]
[name]Everly[/name] [name]Gwyneira[/name] (which means “white snow”)
[name]Everly[/name] [name]Nollie[/name] (but this is a little more out there than your other kids’ names)
[name]Everly[/name] might not be popular, but it has an extremely trendy sound. Because of that it doesn’t sound as unique to me as, say, [name]Noelle[/name], which ranks much higher but has a lovely sound, history, and meaning all its own. [name]Bear[/name] in mind that [name]Everly[/name] will probably be in a class with several little Averys and Evelyns, not to mention Avas and Emilys, making her name sound like a Top 10 clone even if it doesn’t chart.
I think that’s exactly what I am afraid of. Maybe I can come up with a more unique first name and make it work for a middle name. Thanks so much for the input.
[name]Everly[/name] has a trendy sound. I prefer [name]Evelyn[/name] (which is popular, but still classic). However, the combination of [name]Evelyn[/name] and [name]Beverly[/name] means [name]Everly[/name] is special for you, which is what’s most important. I like namelover’s suggestion of [name]Everly[/name] [name]Snow[/name] or [name]Everly[/name] [name]Winter[/name], which includes a snowboarding reference. I think [name]Everly[/name] matches well with your other children’s names, but, as others have said, it’s a popular-sounding name.
I don’t think [name]Everly[/name] will be the next [name]Avery[/name]. However, a lot of people might mis-hear [name]Everly[/name] as [name]Beverly[/name] or [name]Avery[/name], but if you are ok with just correctly that, I think it will be fine. [name]Everly[/name] matches well with [name]Oakley[/name], [name]Aspen[/name], and [name]Brecken[/name]. I’d alternatively suggest “[name]Eve[/name]” since it’s in both [name]Beverly[/name] and [name]Evelyn[/name].
I don’t hink [name]Everly[/name] will be the next [name]Avery[/name]. And I think it fits the spirit of your other children’s names better than [name]Evelyn[/name] and such. [name]Everly[/name] [name]Snow[/name] is amazing!
[name]Everly[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] is my favorite from your list! But I love [name]Everly[/name] [name]Snow[/name] or even [name]Everly[/name] Nivea and [name]Everly[/name] [name]Eira[/name] (both middle names mean snow). [name]Nevada[/name] means snow too. [name]Everly[/name] [name]Winter[/name] is super pretty too.
Good luck!!
I love [name]Everly[/name], and even more since you are honoring family members! [name]Everly[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] is beautiful, and I also like the suggestion of [name]Everly[/name] [name]Snow[/name].
Another vote for [name]Everly[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]. Yes, [name]Everly[/name] sounds trendy, but I highly doubt it’ll be so popular.
ps: just adding compliment to your other kidds’ names, especially [name]Aspen[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name].
I love [name]Everly[/name] too! And, [name]Everly[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] is stunning!
It does have somewhat of a trendy feel, though I don’t think it’s at all overused. Here are some snowboarding related mns:
[name]Everly[/name] [name]Snow[/name]
[name]Every[/name] [name]Neige[/name] (French for snow)
[name]Everly[/name] [name]Eira[/name]
[name]Everly[/name] [name]Winter[/name]
I think honoring the grandmothers is important but maybe you should try to work it in as a middle name.
I’d view [name]Everly[/name] as ‘made up’ rather than ‘unique’. The problem I have with made up names is that I read them as surnames, especially when they’re paired with traditional names as middles which they invariably are. For example, I’d look at [name]Everly[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] and see ‘[name]EVERLY[/name], [name]Noelle[/name]’ as if the name had appeared on a register surname first. Therefore I shopped around for some other options based on the ‘[name]Eve[/name]’ parts of [name]Beverley[/name] and [name]Evelyn[/name] and came up with these:
Everilda
[name]Yvette[/name]/[name]Evette[/name]
[name]Maeve[/name] (mayv)
Lieve (lee-va)
[name]Niamh[/name] (neeve)
With the exception of [name]Maeve[/name] - possibly - I believe all of these could be considered unique right now. I particularly like Lieve [name]Noelle[/name] and Everilda [name]Ivy[/name].
I would go with [name]Everly[/name]
Maybe [name]Everly[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name]
[name]Everly[/name] is my favorite girls name! The NN [name]Ever[/name] really won me over.
I understand that it does sound quite trendy so if it’s something that you want to avoid then I wouldn’t use [name]Everly[/name]. But if it doesn’t bother you then I say go for it.
[name]Everly[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] is beautiful. I also like the suggestions of [name]Everly[/name] [name]Snow[/name] and [name]Everly[/name] [name]Winter[/name].
I think [name]Scarlet[/name] is more popular than [name]Everly[/name], so go with [name]Everly[/name]. (plus it honors family, which is always a bonus) The idea of [name]Everly[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] is nice, but to be honest it’s rather a mouthfull. [name]Everly[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] is beautiful. I also think it may be beneficial to consider a snowboarding related middle, like previous posters suggested. [name]Winter[/name] and [name]Snow[/name] are ideal ones, and they sound good with [name]Everly[/name]. I like your other kids’ names by the way!
Good luck!
