My favorites are [name_m]Hadrian[/name_m] and [name_f]Mairi[/name_f]. All the other ones are perfectly usable as well, except maybe McHenry. It looks rather strange.
[name_u]Jameson[/name_u], [name_f]Marin[/name_f] and [name_f]Catalina[/name_f] are “normal” I would say. [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] is not that weird anymore because of the immense popularity of the actress [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] [name_m]Ronan[/name_m]. McHenry and Mattson look a bit made-up, tho.
McHenry strikes me as a bit strange. [name_f]Mairi[/name_f] and [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] are not strange names in the UK and [name_f]Ireland[/name_f], but might be difficult to wear in other countries, so I suppose it depends on where you live.
McHenry - I would definitely assume this was the child’s surname. It just doesn’t seem very name-like to me.
Mattson - Not awful or weird, but it does just sound like “mats on” to me. Or like someone said [name_u]Madison[/name_u] very quickly. That said, it’s my second favorite from this list.
[name_m]Hadrian[/name_m] - This would get misspelled as [name_m]Adrian[/name_m] all the time, I wouldn’t go for it.
[name_u]Jameson[/name_u] - Definitely the safest option you have, not weird at all.
[name_f]Mairi[/name_f] - I’d spell this [name_f]Mari[/name_f]. A [name_f]Mairi[/name_f] would constantly have to explain how her name is spelled and pronounced. I like the sound.
[name_f]Marin[/name_f] - Really like [name_f]Marin[/name_f] actually! [name_f]Maren[/name_f] is starting to gain popularity so it makes sense for [name_f]Marin[/name_f] to join her. It has a sweet, familiar but unique sound.
[name_f]Catalina[/name_f] - My favorite. [name_m]Just[/name_m] very sweet-sounding with plenty of familiar nicknames. Not weird.
[name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] - This one is a name that I’ve been hearing more and more of in the last yeat, so I wouldn’t be too surprised to meet one but I would assume the child had at least one Irish parent.
