[name]Clara[/name] is my top choice for a future daughter and that is not changing, but I have fallen for some of these names lately and I am not sure if they are really too similar or if it is just my imagination. So do you think any of these are too similar to [name]Clara[/name]?
I love [name]Caroline[/name],[name]Cora[/name], and [name]Chloe[/name], but the names do seem a little too similar to [name]Clara[/name]. I feel you could get away with [name]Cora[/name] and [name]Chloe[/name],but [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Clara[/name] are too similar, because the beginning of [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Clara[/name] rhyme-[name]Cara[/name] and [name]Clara[/name].
[name]Cora[/name] and [name]Chloe[/name] are a little similar([name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Clara[/name] kind of both have the same Cl sound, and [name]Cora[/name] also is a C name that ends with [name]Clara[/name]) but they could work.
I think [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Chloe[/name] could maybe work (though the styles seem different to me). I think [name]Caroline[/name] and [name]Cora[/name] are too similar though. Funny how that happens: sounds you like in one name make you like similar ones. I love [name]Cora[/name], and also [name]Flora[/name], [name]Laurel[/name], [name]Laurence[/name], [name]Rory[/name]… Something about that “or/aur” sound makes me smile.
I think [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Clara[/name] could work but the others seem to rhymey or something. I tend to to like that sound. My son’s name is [name]Cuyler[/name] and I love [name]Claire[/name], [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Kate[/name]. We will be using [name]Claire[/name] though.
The only that I don’t think will work is [name]Cora[/name] since it’s super matchy with [name]Clara[/name]. I’m not a fan of [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Clara[/name] because they both start with a cl sound.
[name]Clara[/name] and [name]Caroline[/name] is the only one I’d think is okay, but in the end I think you’d be trapping yourself into a theme…
[name]Clara[/name] and [name]Caroline[/name]. [name]Em[/name], maybe. Would she go by [name]Cara[/name]? If you think she’d get [name]Cara[/name] at any point at all, then yes, too close. But if she would get [name]Linny[/name], [name]Lina[/name], or [name]Callie[/name] (or even the full [name]Caroline[/name]) 100% of the time, then I think it could work (still a bit matchy, though).
[name]Clara[/name] and [name]Cora[/name]. Too matchy. I thought [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Norah[/name] were too much together, haha, and [name]Cora[/name]'s even worse. [name]How[/name] I do love [name]Cora[/name], though!
[name]Clara[/name] and [name]Chloe[/name]. They share a beginning sound, but I think they could work. More matchy than I’d go, personally, though.
