I have a [name_f]Hadlee[/name_f] already. I am in love with the name [name_u]Holly[/name_u]. Are they too close? Style of names I guess would be double letters and that doesn’t gave a nickname given.

If you really love the name - use it, [name_u]Holly[/name_u] and [name_f]Hadlee[/name_f] do sound similar, but not too much imo. Other suggestions

I knew twins named [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] and [name_u]Holly[/name_u] and no one ever complained about it. Should be fine!

If you don’t mind having a ‘theme’, I suppose they can work. They’re not extremely similar so it wouldn’t be super confusing, but be ready for some confusions.

Not sure if your [name_f]Hadlee[/name_f] is old enough to take part in this experiment but if she is, you could try calling both names from another room and see if she responds to Holly; that way you’d know if it’s going to be a persistent issue in your house

Too similar for me, though people do this. I would suggest looking for other options but keep [name_u]Holly[/name_u] on your list in case, in the end, you feel it is ‘the one’.
