Are you hearing Juniper IRL a lot?

I thought we were nearly settled on baby #3’s name, [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]. But I keep hearing it on new babies of acquaintances in my state in the last two months. Granted its only been 3 girls but since I only know of a few more babies in that time it feels like a lot.
Are you hearing it often by people you know too?
I thought it would see more use as it seems really hot right now but this was more than I anticipated.

I’ve never seen or heard of a [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] outside of nb. It’s a brave choice, but it’s still realistic and I think it would be cool to meet a [name_u]Juniper[/name_u].

I’ve met 1 [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], she goes by [name_f]Junie[/name_f]. My cousin also has twins and one of them is a girl name [name_u]June[/name_u]. The only 2 I’ve ever met.

I’ve never met a [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] or heard of anyone in my area using it.

I know one [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], who is about 2 now. Otherwise, I hear it spoken of as a possibility often on name sites, but I don’t know anyone else who actually used it.

You may be in a [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] pocket? Could you check your state’s statistics?

The couple who run the CSA I’m in have a [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]. My husband and i considered it but ultimately thought it wasn’t right for us.

I vaguely remember overhearing a [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] once. It could’ve been me, though, and no actual [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], but overhearing one rings a bell. I know of lots of older Junes but no [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], I’ve never come across any expectant mums considering it either.

I love this name, and have been put off by it’s seeming popularity online, but I’ve never met one irl.

Well this makes me feel better, I think :slight_smile: I must live in a weird little Juniper pocket, if we choose it we’d be the third in my town, and the 4th I know in Michigan.

I think [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is pretty common in the pnw. I have heard it semi frequently in WA, and even more frequently in OR (it’s a top 100 name there)

I’ve never met a [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_m]IRL[/name_m]. It is reallllllly trendy right now though.

A couple I know (they are probably 21 or so) used this on their little girl a few months ago! I was so shocked to hear it somewhere besides Nameberry! A friend of a Facebook friend also used it, but I haven’t met that baby. So it does seem to be popping up!
