it’s a bit of a stretch. [name]Ariella[/name] is quite close to [name]Aurelia[/name] and has the natural [name]Ari[/name] nn.

I think it works, but my first thought was of [name]Ari[/name] [name]Gold[/name] from the HBO series Entourage. I don’t think a lot of folks would make this association though!
