Ari or Arie as a nickname for Arielle?

I love them both but, which would be more appropriate?

I think [name]Arie[/name] is a bit more feminine looking. When I see [name]Ari[/name] I want to pronounce it R-EE, whereas when I see [name]Arie[/name] I say [name]AIR[/name]-EE. Are you pronouncing them both the same way? Very cute nickname :slight_smile:

I think they’re equally applicable. [name]Both[/name] spellings are right there in [name]Arielle[/name]. I have a personal preference for [name]Ari[/name], but [name]Arie[/name] seems a bit frillier.
