Recently, I asked about your opinions on [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Maris[/name_f]. However, I kept feeling like [name_f]Stella[/name_f] was almost there, but not quiet. I’ve been toying around with [name_f]Esther[/name_f], which I thought of after seeing [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], but it’s just not clicking. Then today, I saw [name_f]Aristella[/name_f] on NB. I love this name, but I’m not sure if it would come across as sweet or prissy.
Aristella is so pretty!! It sounds so whimsical! It definitely doesn’t sound prissy to me. In my opinion it sounds more mature than [name_f]Stella[/name_f] but it’s still sweet sounding too.
I like it! It does give me sort of prissy vibes- I think because it sounds sort of like aristocracy. But other than that association, I do think it’s super cute!
I prefer [name_f]Stella[/name_f] or [name_f]Estella[/name_f], however [name_f]Aristella[/name_f] is useable (I think) although I’ve never heard it before.
It’s pretty and sounds quite whimsical and fantastical. A similar name that I slightly prefer, however, would be [name_f]Aristeia[/name_f], which feels a little more magical to me. However, [name_f]Aristella[/name_f] is delightful!
I do find it a bit fussy, if I’m honest. I haven’t heard it before and, while I don’t dislike it, it does sound a little bit like a invention based on several popular sounds of the moment.
I prefer [name_f]Estella[/name_f], [name_f]Maristela[/name_f], or [name_f]Aristeia[/name_f] as @rosepip mentioned. All of those feel a little more familiar to me, which I think is my main issue with [name_f]Aristella[/name_f].
I think it would be a great name for an [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] baby because of its meaning. I love that it would give you so many nickname options too
Reminds me a bit of [name_m]Aristotle[/name_m]. I like it!
I love [name_f]Aristeia[/name_f]! I think I like it more than [name_f]Aristella[/name_f]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you personally pronounce it “[name_m]Ah[/name_m]-ristea” or “[name_f]Air[/name_f]-istea”?
Well, in my accent it becomes a bit more complicated. I pronounce the A as in ‘cat’, but I think if I had an american accent, the first syllable would become more like ‘air’.
I’ve never seen this before and I absolutely love it! It feels whimsical and regal at the same time. What a great way to get to [name_f]Stella[/name_f]!
It sounds very beautiful in Spanish and I love it as an alternative for [name_f]Ariana[/name_f]! I don’t really love [name_f]Stella[/name_f] as a solo name but I love [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] so maybe that’s why? I think problem arises that unlike [name_f]Stella[/name_f] or even [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], [name_f]Aristella[/name_f] isn’t really a international name! I don’t see how that can be a problem however unless that’s a criteria for you! I love it and can see it as a solution to your name problem!
