Here are my thoughts on the ‘not quite right’ lists:
Wren-It’s not my favorite. I like it in theory. It has all of the good qualities; sleek, kind, nature-y, pretty bird imagery, not terribly over done but fairly simple. I just feel like it has a bland sound.
Nev-This seems lacking. Like [name_f]Neve[/name_f] would look better, but then people might say ‘Neeve’. I actually much prefer [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] to either (said Neeve) [name_u]Nev[/name_u] or [name_f]Neve[/name_f]. It’s a little tricky, but it’s unique & polished & feminine w/out being frilly. Really great w/Arlo & [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] too.
Keeva-I feel like this looks kind of modern & off…but I like the Irish (i.e. more difficult!) spelling of [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] a lot.
Jane-Even though it’s so ‘plain’ (not in a bad way!), I kind of love it w/your sibling set.
Esme-I love love [name_f]Esme[/name_f]. Definitely my favorite of the group. It’s so magical sounding, but still feels down to earth & not fussy.
Ellie-I adore [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], but mainly as a nn. Also, it’s super duper popular, so you’d probably not prefer to use it for that reason.
Felix-This is really cute w/Arlo & [name_f]Rhea[/name_f]. Not my personal favorite. I feel like it sounds cartoon-ish. And I’m totally in the minority, because people seem to like it.
Kit-Feels more upper-crust than [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] & [name_f]Rhea[/name_f], but it’s a darling name. Short, simple, smart, spunky, not too popular.
Finn-I love it. I love it w/your sibling set as well. It’s so friendly & sporty & lovable, but also sounds very put together. It may be getting a tad popular.
Odin-This feels perfect too, & is not getting a tad popular.
Ellis-I like it. I think it’s handsome & charming for a boy. Maybe getting used on girls some.
