[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_u]Jay[/name_u]/[name_u]Sage[/name_u] P____: [name_m]Even[/name_m] after I posted asking for middles for [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], he still wanted either [name_u]Jay[/name_u] or [name_u]Sage[/name_u]! Which I do like, because I’ll call her [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]-[name_u]Jay[/name_u]/[name_f]Em[/name_f]-[name_u]Jay[/name_u]/[name_f]Emmy[/name_f]-[name_u]Sage[/name_u], and I think those are super cute nicknames. BUT he hates [name_f]Em[/name_f]-[name_u]Jay[/name_u]/[name_f]Emmy[/name_f]-[name_u]Jay[/name_u], because he thinks of MJ, like [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Jackson[/name_m]. So that’s the down side to that name. BUT I think this is the best choice to go with our boy name, [name_m]Callen[/name_m] [name_m]Archer[/name_m]/[name_m]Callen[/name_m] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] (Obviously his middle would be [name_m]Archer[/name_m] if hers was [name_u]Sage[/name_u].) [name_u]Cal[/name_u] and [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] makes my heart melt, and their given names would match as well.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] Carraway P____: This is [name_f]MY[/name_f] pick. I’ve loved [name_f]Violet[/name_f] since I was a little girl. And as I said above, the middle means something to me. I love it completely.
I really like all your choices! I’d probably do [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] Carraway myself since the middle means so much to you and then both you and your hubby are agreeing.
I agree that [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] alone is a bit too cutesy, which she may dislike as an older woman. [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] is my second favourite, it’s very pretty and you can still use the nn [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]. [name_u]Sage[/name_u] is an awesome nature name, I love it as a middle. I would have to say that [name_f]Violet[/name_f] Carraway is my favourite, it flows beautifully and it’s really elegant. I like [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_m]Callen[/name_m] as a sibset, but you can’t go wrong with [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] or [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] Carraway- I think it would age beautifully. [name_f]Amy[/name_f] ages wonderfully, no? So why would [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] be any different?
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] Carraway is my pick! I feel like there are some many [name_f]Emmy[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Elle[/name_f] names in this generation, but [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is sweet and refreshing!

I like all 3. Not a big fan of [name_u]Jay[/name_u], but [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] is nice. Maybe [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_u]Bay[/name_u]? Or [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]?
[name_f]Emmy[/name_f] Carraway and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] Carraway are both great. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] Carraway is my favorite-- very sophisticated and vintage sounding.

I like the point made about ‘[name_f]Amy[/name_f], so why not [name_f]Emmy[/name_f]?’ that makes a lot of sense to me, and makes me feel less wary about the nick-namey feel. As for the suggestion of [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] Carraway, we discussed that and we don’t like how long it is 3-3-2 syllable pattern just doesn’t feel right to us. Otherwise it would be the perfect compromise! The middle name for [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] is not set in stone, so it could change. [name_u]Sage[/name_u] is our go-to though, because it is one of my very favorite names for both genders.
